An impetuous evolution of brain-computer interfaces calls for considering both technological and socio-humanistic issues. In our talk, we give a brief overview of the current state of affairs and analyze the perspectives of modern approaches to human-computer interactions (HCI). Besides, we will raise and try to answer a question as to how to reconcile humans with nonhumans and not to open a Pandora box endangering the humanity.
