The main goal of the talk is to make you familiar with facilitation concept and facilitator role in meetings, negotiations, group discussions, Scrum events, etc. During the talk you will get understating about facilitation process, facilitator role, explore efficient facilitation techniques of information gathering, analyses and evaluation. We will also learn techniques for conflict resolution and see what evolutionary stages the team came through and what it the relevant level of facilitation for each stage.

12+ years overall experience in IT, mostly as a delivery manager and a head of department. Currently working as an Agile coach and a trainer in Kiev Luxoft Agile Practice. I work closely with delivery managers, teams and customers, perform project processes assessment, provide team and individual Agile coaching, create and conduct trainings and workshops. I enjoy seeing how understanding of this or that concept reaches a person mind and a-ha effect appears, I feel very inspired when know that I described or showed something innovative and useful for an individual or a team that make their live sparking with new colors and daily duties stop being a burden and become being fun.

It is a very well organized conference you have, quite different in scope from the normal “western” conferences I attend — and I mean that positively. There is a more practitioner approach, but still some academic touch. And you seem to have a very enthusiastic — and growing — audience attending. So you must be on the right track.

  • CEE-SECR is different from other conferences: successful smiling friendly people give the impression that I was on another planet; The conference is well organized and comfortable for participants, there was a speakers’ room, WiFi, space for participants discussions with a board and a screen. A pleasant fact for me was that at the last moment, when I was about to leave on a plane one of the participants told me he was going to SECR for only 2 reports, one of which is mine.
